COVID-19 Resources for Arts Organizations
There’s no way around it, the past few months have been heartbreaking for all of us. Not only have performing arts organizations been hit especially hard by COVID-19, but we as choral singers have been robbed of our best coping mechanisms.
Despite the dark times, this crisis also has the potential to bring out the resilience and creativity that makes our community so strong, and at Chorus Connection, we want to help you channel such strengths in this critical moment. Here’s some key information and resources to help your choir as we march through this difficult time together.
Customer Support
We know that you rely on Chorus Connection as a primary communication tool, especially in chaotic times when you need to stay organized and connected.
We’re still here, and we’re not going anywhere.
Our Customer Success team is fully equipped to work from home, and we are committed to delivering fast responses to any questions you might have both during this crisis and in the months ahead as you begin your recovery efforts. Don’t hesitate to email support@chorusconnection.com if you need anything, including help issuing refunds for tickets, retreats, dues, etc.
Staying Connected
Each and every one of us has faced tough decisions in the past few weeks, with more to come in the months ahead. To help you make smart decisions, we’re going to keep you up-to-date with best practices and creative ideas as this crisis evolves.
In the coming months, our blog will be full of information to help you navigate this moment. We post about once per week. Subscribe so you don’t miss a thing.
If you’d like to talk with peers in leadership roles of other choirs to commiserate, share ideas, and learn, check out the Chorus Management Network.
Things You Can Do to Help
The Economic Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the Arts and Cultural Sector
Please complete this survey for Americans for the Arts. This survey is designed to collect information about the financial and human impacts that the spread of the coronavirus has had on arts and cultural organizations. The survey also collects basic information about the participating organizations so that the data can be parsed by specific geographic regions, artistic disciplines, and budget categories.
Share Your COVID-19 Response Success Story
Have you had creative successes overcoming the challenges of this crisis? Fill out the form on this page and let us know. We’re actively looking for great ideas we can share with the rest of the choral community.
